Dinner Specials

June Latitude “Greek” (43˚-35˚)
The specials are served with orzo (a melon seed shaped pasta) 
tossed with kalamata olives, olive oil and parsley, baked beets 
with skordalia (a potato and garlic sauce) and pita bread 
spread with tzatziki (pressed yogurt flavored with 
cucumber and fresh garlic).

Prawns with Feta
Prawns seared then sautéed with feta cheese, ouzo (Greek licorice liqueur) and tomatoes, all making such a tasty Greek treat

Bandit Lamb
A bandits purse of filo pastry wrapped around marinated & grilled chunks of leg of lamb, feta cheese, tomatoes, red onions, and oregano
 

Grilled Albacore with Olive Relish
Fresh fillet of swordfish grilled and served topped with an olive relish made with green and kalamata olives, roasted red pepper, oregano, and red wine vinegar

Moussaka
This vegetarian rendition is made with layers of grilled eggplant, tempeh sautéed in wine and red sauce with a topping of béchamel sauce baked to a golden crust and garnished with feta, fresh tomatoes and parsley
 

Chicken stewed in a 
Crete Tomato Sauce

A Crete recipe dating back to the Turk occuation. Chicken breast stewed in an exotic sauce of tomatoes and onions seasoned with cinnamon, coriander, orange rind, and raisins
 

Greek Dessert
Greek Lemon Honey Cake 

filled with lemon curd and topped with fresh apricots

Complete Greek Latitude 
A five course family style dinner: Course one: Spanakopita appetizer, course two: Greek Salad, courses three and four: four of the five Greek entrees and course five: the Greek Lemon Cake (whole table participation advised)

Popular chilled appetizer of stuffed grape leaves filled 
with rice, pinenuts, raisins, onions, herb and spices 
and steamed with olive oil and lemon juice

Greek Salad
Feta, cucumber, tomatoes, onions, dolmas, and 
kalamata olives topped with red wine vinegar, olive oil 
and fresh oregano

Spanakopita
Triangles of baked philo pastry filled with a 
savory mixture of feta cheese and spinach
