Dinners come with tossed green salad, bread, hummus, and butter. The entrees will usually come with rice, roasted baby potatoes, mashed potatoes, or baked potato and with steamed vegetables.
These choices will be made at the time the entrees are picked.


 
 
Atlantic Salmon Grilled or Poached

Fillet of fresh Atlantic salmon cooked to your preference.

Cider Chicken
A German dish of a breast of chicken marinated overnight in buttermilk, breaded, seared golden, then sautéed in apple cider with braised apple slices and served topped with a sour cream and cider sauce and toasted pecans.

Fillet Mignon
8 ounce fillet mignon grilled to your preference.

East Indian Curried Tofu
Grilled tofu stewed in a creamy curry and coconut sauce and served with sides of papaya and raisin chutneys, riata, pulao (East Indian style rice), and a chapatti.
 
Gingered Prawns
Prawns sautéed in a ginger sauce with china peas and cucumber.

Spinach Crepes
Crepes filled with your choice of chicken or tofu with spinach, mushrooms, onion, and cheese and served topped with a light golden cheese sauce. With chicken or tofu.

Tofu Florentine in Pastry
Tofu grilled with cashews, spinach, green onion, soy sauce and sherry and wrapped in phyllo pastry with smoked mozzarella cheese, baked and served topped with a light golden cheese sauce.

Fettuccine Alfredo
Fettuccine served in a rich creamy Alfredo sauce with parmesan cheese and garlic bread. Topped with grilled chicken upon request.

Chicken Florentine
Chicken spinach, mushrooms, and cheese baked in a flaky phyllo dough and served with a light golden cheese sauce.

Marsala Chicken
Grilled chicken breast sautéed with Marsala wine and mushrooms and topped with parmesan cheese.
Roasted Game Hen
Game Hen roasted stuffed with herbs and lemon till golden and served with a brown sauce.

Confetti Prawns
Pan Pacific dish, prawns seared and sautéed with linguini in a confetti of red peppers, green onion, and ginger in a lime sauce.
  
Greek Prawns
Prawns sautéed with feta cheese and ouzo and served over pasta.

Macadamia Encrusted Mahi-Mahi
Hawaiian dish of mahi-mahi fillet encrusted with a crispy chunky macadamia nut crust and served with an orange sauce.

Medallion of Salmon
Salmon fillet poached in a white wine and shallot sauce and topped with a lemon cream sauce.

Mediterranean Baked Cod
Fillet of cod marinated with lemon juice, fresh tomatoes and basil and baked topped with a crispy olive oil infused bread crumb.

Baked Red Snapper
Red Snapper baked with a sauce fresh tomatoes, capers, green olives, onion, and lime juice, originally a recipe from Vera Cruz.

Salmon or Cod in Paper
Fish fillet baked wrapped in parchment paper with leeks, celery, and carrots and served with a sour cream caper sauce. With Salmon or Cod.

Grilled Tuna
Ahi grade tuna fillet grilled and served with a Hawaiian grilled pineapple relish.

Prime Rib
10 or 14 ounce serving baked with a pepper spice coating and served au-jus with a horseradish cream sauce.

Rib Eye Steak
10 ounce steak marinated and grilled. Served with steak sauce.

Osso Buco 
Italian dish of beef shank stewed with vegetables and Marsala wine till very tender.

Lamb Chops
Pan seared and served with a garlic vinegar sauce.
German Sauerbraten
Beef tri-tip marinated for five days in red wine and spices, baked with vegetables till very tender and served with a beef and wine sauce and a side of horseradish cream sauce….

Tempeh Wellington
Grilled tempeh, smoked mozzarella cheese and mushroom pate baked in a flaky pastry and served with a red wine sauce.

Spinach Ravioli with Red Bell Pepper or Alfredo Sauce
Spinach ravioli filled with cheese and served with a savory sweet red pepper sauce or white Alfredo sauce with a sprinkling of parmesan and parsley.

Pasta Primavera
Linguini tossed with olive oil and fresh grilled vegetables and parmesan.


Dessert

Hazelnut Torte 
Three layered delight; hazelnut crust, chocolate center, and a raspberry flavored cream cheese top layer.

Crème Brulee
Classic French vanilla custard topped with a caramelized crust of citrus sugar.

Warm Bittersweet Chocolate Cake
A dense chocolate cake covered with a thick rich bittersweet chocolate frosting served warm with a garnish of French crème fraiche.

Tiramisu
Italian “lift me up”, mascarpone custard layered with ladyfingers soaked in espresso and kalua, all topped with bittersweet cocoa.

Fruit Cobbler
Our healthy, low calorie, unsweetened dessert. Apples, raspberries, and fruit juice baked with an almond and oatmeal crumb topping. For an extra treat have it ala mode. 

Italian Gelato (Ice Cream)
Vanilla, Kookie Kalua or Mint Chocolate Chip Wonderfully rich creamier ice cream made the Italian way.

About Restaurant Site

Our restaurant is located just 5 seconds off Interstate 80 and is housed in an 1880’s Victorian just in Historic Auburn just above Old Town. We have plenty of parking both in front on the street and in our private parking lot behind the restaurant. The restaurant is street level in front and from the back is the second floor. It is accessible in the back by stairs or an elevator. The bar is located on the basement floor, which from the back is the first floor. The restaurant has two dining rooms with a waiting area between the dining rooms, a bar below and two decks, one outside the dining rooms and one just outside the bar.

The whole restaurant seats 80 to 100 people and can be rented when the restaurant is not open. 
During open hours the individual spaces and rooms may be reserved.
